The Other Side of the Postcard is my debut feature documentary that follows a grieving mother whose 10-year-old son was shot and killed by police in a favela in Rio. The film explores the history of violence in Rio and the pacification program put in place during the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games. Intercut with interviews from some of the most wanted drug traffickers, former police officials and activists, this essay film received several awards, a limited release with ODEON in Rio and is currently available in the US and UK on Amazon Prime.
